John performed a thorough inspection of the plumbing throughout the house. He brought several items to my attention and gave me several recommendations with estimates. Danny came to our home in Sangaree and efficiently replaced our 50 gallon water heater. He also explained that our old heater was not up to current building code and explained to me why and how he would correct the situation and he did.He is a very polite and efficient worker that takes pride in his work and manners in his dealing with us. Today was the 2nd time I have used Rudd for a problem at my house. I used them last summer for a plumbing problem and they were great. In fact, I was so pleased with the level of service that I recommended them to my sister-in/law (James Island) when she had an HVAC problem. Her technician was Marcus and she could not say enough good things about him.Today was my turn with an HVAC problem. I called around mid-morning and figured there might be some difficulty getting someone to come out as I was sure the cold weather had the heating/cooling people booked up. Turned out I was wrong. I called around 11am and there was a repair person at my house by 2pm. The technician they sent was Jessie Roberts and what a godsend he turned out to be. He patiently listened to my explanation of what my unit had been doing. He explained what he thought the problem might be in terms I could understand. Then he went to work on the unit. In no time flat he identified the capacitor as the issue. He even showed me the capacitor and put his voltage testers on them so I could see the readings. I authorized him to replace the capacitor - which he did on the spot. The whole thing took less than 1 hour.Jessie Roberts was an absolute delight and is a great representative of this company. He has 28 years of HVAC experience and it shows. He was very efficient and very professional. It was obvious he knew his stuff and I had total confidence in what he said. In fact, I was so impressed with his level of expertise and the way he conducted himself that I asked about the Company’s annual maintenance program and then had him sign me up for that as well.So bottom line - I can’t say enough good things about Rudd. They are responsive, their technicians are amazing and their prices are reasonable. They have a ton of 5 star ratings and, based on my experiences with them, they deserve every one of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC or plumbing services.

John Hefner was able to save the day! The main line to my house was clogged. We were unable to use any sinks, toilets, and showers. He came out the same day and fixed it after working at it for a bit, and he was even willing to check under the house if needed. He checked everything multiple times before leaving and even helped me clean up after. 10/10 recommend!

Alex just finished replacing a malfunctioning thermostat. He troubleshot the problem, installed a temporary thermostat for the system, then returned with one that that took advantage of all of our system's features. Alex was fast & friendly. He made sure all of the featurs worked as advertised while showing me how to operate the new device.Another big plus was the old thermostat was under warranty so the work was covered under our maintenance agreement.Thank you, Alex.
